Happy Holidays With Instruments

I thought I'd post some pictures of my Fender Stratocaster, Marshall Amp and Sonor Drum Kit. Max and I share many of the instruments that I own. He's only 7 1/2 years old, but I can see that he's got the gift!

2006 4th of July Blast!

We had our annual 4th of July Blast at my Aunt Sylvia's house in Farmington. The cotton candy maker provided by Sylvia's neighbor Mary Ann and her husband Bob was a huge hit with the kids as was the other festivities such as the face painting, pop-up pool and water slide. We enjoyed another safe year with "not-so-legal" fireworks this time. My ears are still ringing - BOOOOM! It was a great family bash as usual. Here's a few photos to help show the story!

Easter day 2006

We had a really great easter this year. As usual we dressed up real nice for church, then we went to my cousin Shaun's house for an early dinner. We had a blast with an Easter egg hunt in his back yard and some go-carting at the school parking lot nearby!

Welcome Dean Robert Osip

On Tuesday March 21st at 9:04am our family welcomed my new nephew - Dean Robert Osip. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 9 oz. and is 20 inches long (He's got a clef chin just like his dad). Congratulations to my sister Julie and brother-in-law Andy on their fine handywork. Welcome to the world Dean!

Guitar face

Undoubtedbly the best blues guitarist that ever was or will be! Stevie Ray Vaughan. He's got on his best guitar face. I saw him when I was in High School in 1985 on his Soul To Soul Album Tour at Meadowbrook. He was unbelievable. He may be gone, but his blues guitar style lives forever.

My Favorite New Old Band

Cream is the cream of what rock music should sound and feel like. They reunited this past year for a few London England shows. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll tour the U.S. They play as a single unit, yet have their own individuality as well. Eric Clapton on Lead Guitar, Jack Bruce on Bass and Ginger Baker on Drums. Totally awesome!!!

My Bass Gear

This is my Teal Green Fender "2000" American Deluxe Jazz Bass and my SWR Workingman's 12 120 Watt combo amp. Its got more bottom end than your average bass setup...especially since I play a 5 String bass.

My Boys

This is a recent photo of my 2 boys Jack(8) and Max(6) skating at the Berkley ice arena. They both skate very well as a result of their skating lessons. They are really GOOD kids and they make their parents proud!
